Online Counselling for Adults in Beddington, Wallington & Across the UK

Your space to explore thoughts, feelings and challenges

Why would I choose Therapy?

Everyone expects things from you – at work, at home, even your friends. You try your best to meet all these expectations, giving so much of yourself to other people, that it feels like there’s nothing left for you. You put other people first and make sure that everyone around you is happy, but no-one does this for you. You feel like you don’t matter.

You feel like you're carrying a weight that is almost too heavy to bear, but you put on a brave face and do your best to cope even though it’s hard to fall asleep sometimes because of the anxiety.

You wish you could tell someone how hard you are finding things, but it’s difficult to find someone who will listen and who you can trust.

How Counselling Can Help

You just want to be happy. Its not too much to ask, is it? No, it isn’t, but what would being happy even look like?

In the morning you actually look forwards to the day ahead. You know that you don’t have to take on the expectations that other people put on you. You understand that you can say no if you want. You feel lighter and better able to concentrate. You make time for yourself during the week; you remind yourself that you do deserve this and that it isn’t selfish. You find it easier to fall asleep and its much less common for you to wake up in the middle of the night feeling like there’s something important that you have forgotten.

A transformation like this is possible, it takes time and work, but counselling can help you to identify the changes you want to make in your life and start making them a reality. Book a free 20 minute introductory call to discuss how we can work together towards your goals

How Online Counselling Works

Introductory call (20 mins):

This free telephone call, helps us to decide if we can work together.

First session (50 mins):

We begin our work together by building a shared understanding of what you are hoping to achieve through counselling, by exploring that which you feel will be at the heart of our work and by thinking about a potential timeline for our work; agreeing to commit to a time and day each week where we will meet.

Regular sessions (50 mins):

Our work will continue, and you will be able to talk about anything that you want, even if you feel it doesn’t fit with your counselling goals. Everything is important.

Open-ended support:

Although we might agree to an initial number of sessions, you will be the one to decide how long our work together will last. There will be regular opportunities for us to take stock of our progress, to discuss your goals and whether these have changed over time, and to explore any improvements that we have noted.

Ending our work:

Endings are unavoidable, they can often be painful and unpleasant, but in the ending of our work together you will be empowered to make this choice for yourself. We will then agree to a final session or two where we can reflect on our time together, what has been learned and what has changed. With this involvement, the ending isn’t something that happens to you but something that you can experience as a part of your onward journey.

I am a degree-educated counsellor, qualified in therapeutic counselling and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), working within their ethical framework. I am based in Beddington, in the London borough of Sutton but offer online sessions to people based all across the UK.

I genuinely care about the people I work with and place them at the heart of my practice. My experience spans working with clients who are:

Feeling anxious, stressed, or depressed

Grieving a loss — of a loved one, a job, or a life path

Exploring their past or present to understand themselves better

Neurodivergent or exploring their neurodivergence

Victims of domestic abuse

Exploring their gender identity

Every client is unique, and I work to provide a safe, personalised space where you feel seen, heard, and supported.
